Like Rhythm and Blues Incorporated, The Yardbirds and The Animals before them, Mo'Indigo have become the band of choice for many American Blues and Soul Artists touring the UK and Europe. They've developed a bit of a Nashville connection over the years, working with many of the greats like the late Roscoe Shelton, Charles Walker, Earl Gaines, Johnny Jones and Fred James. They've also toured extensively with Chicago soul man Lou Pride and Texas guitar slinger Sherman Robertson.

On 'The Blues Inside' the spotlight is solely on Mo'Indigo; how much of the bluesmasters' magic has rubbed off on the band is apparent on the thirteen intense tracks herein. Mo'Indigo take the tried and tested blues format, and under the mentoring of producer Charles Walker , make a quick trolley-dash through the highways and byways of blue Americana.

In keeping with the music tradition they represent, the band recorded the CD the 'old school way' on 2 inch analogue tape using all-valve amplifiers and an 'antique' Hammond organ

Ten of the songs are originals from Mo'Indigo front man Harry Lang. In writing mode Charles Walker chips in one, 'Magic Man', and shares vocal duties with Harry on a funked-up rendering of Roy Hamilton's 'You Can Have Her'.

The band are joined on four tracks by one of the UK's finest young horn sections, The WattSoul Horns.

The Blues Inside has an eight-page full colour booklet containing full lyric sheets and photos from the recording sessions.
