Big Wes started playing harmonica at age 8 and the guitar at age 14. He joined his first band "Street Kids" at age 17. Since then he has been in several bands. In 1990, The Big Wes Band recorded an album called "Back In The Alley", comprised of 9 original songs. They performed extensively in the South Bay & Venice areas. Big Wes has performed at countless venues all around the country. In the past year & a half, Big Wes has recorded a solo CD called "Blue Guitar", where he does it all.......lead, rhythm, bass, percussion & singing. He has also recorded Piute Mountain Songs 1 & 2. Big Wes is a multi-talented musician with his own original and distinctive sound. In my personal opinion...................... simply one of the best blues guitar players on the planet !
