It all started on a park bench when she was two years old; after that, no one has been able to get her to stop singing. Based in Phoenix, Cerise is from many places and grew up with many different cultural and musical influences. She sang for 10,000 people at the Koger Center in South Carolina, she performed songs of Peace and Hope on the street corners of Caracas, Venezuela to hundreds of onlookers, she took First Place in the Assembly of God Regional Vocal Competition, she belted out her blues and gospel style for thousands of people in many different churches all across the country, and she did all of it before she was sixteen years old.
Now twenty-six years old, with the release of her second CD entitled "Let Freedom Ring", Cerise is traveling the country again spreading the message of Love, Peace, and Joy, through music, to the world. She not only sings with a voice that is a powerhouse of emotion, but also writes her own music with a wisdom and authority that is beyond her years.
Cerise travels and performs at church services for a variety of faiths and beliefs; and also performs for weddings, funerals, grand openings, private parties, and benefit concerts. You can also catch her sometimes singing Karaoke around town.
"I will sing until there is no breath left in my body, and then I will stop gladly, for I will know that I have finished what I came to this place to do" - Cerise.
