Bio
Eddie Tigner was born in 1926 in Macon, Georgia. When his mother remarried after his father's death, the family moved to a mining camp in Kentucky. Eddie grew up listening to bluegrass and country and western music as well as his mother¹s piano playing. Eddie¹s mother was a high demand piano player when he was a teenager back in Georgia. But he didn¹t take up the piano till he went into the army. Eddie returned to Atlanta after his discharge and put his first music group together. He and his group traveled up and down the East Coast performing. Since then Eddie has kept playing his music, when he isn¹t feeding the children at an elementary school in his hometown.
