I was born in Follansbee WV in a highly Italian populated area. This CD fits right in with my Italian background and also being raised singing many of the songs on the CD.
Some of my past memories are of singing these songs on a local Italian Hour radio program as well as television programs. It has been an easy transition from retirement from my management work to gearing up my singing interests and desires. I really never let go of my singing, I just had to make it a secondary activity. Now it has developed into a primary activity of my life. As they say, it is never to late do get involved in something you love.
I now reside in Rutherford County in North Carolina. My wife Joann and my 5 children and 10 grandchildren are my greatest supporters. The name of the CD fits my thought perfectly that it brings back memories and I hope that people will see in it a lot of memories for themselves. My greatest memory is when I sang with Bobby Vinton's Orchestra back in the early 60's.
I hope that the songs on this album will bring back some memories for you, and that it will bring about a new
friendship through the music of this album.
