Anne & Pete love to get right to the heart of their audience. For them it is about the vocals: the words, the harmonies. Accompanied on guitar and banjo theirs is a traditional yet original sound. They are being compared to duet performers like Tim & Mollie O'Brien, and Gillian Welch & David Rawlins. Anne & Pete have been singing together since they met in their high school choir. They bring to the stage their classical training and a strong foundation in live performance.
Anne's powerful vocals and songwriting paired with Pete's solid guitar, melodic clawhammer banjo playing and harmonies highlight their CD released in 2004 entitled, Think of This River. To their delight, the compilation has received radio play in states around the West and support from their listeners.
