Singer/Songwriter Betsy Hammer's debut album "Caressed" contains thirteen uplifting pop country songs. Born in NY, now living in LA, Betsy is the "Phone Sex Lady" in Adam Sandler's "Eight Crazy Nights" and a featured singer in David Spade's Fall 2003 release, "Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star"(Paramount Pictures/Happy Madison Productions). Betsy's also in "Mr. Deeds" and "Spider-Man." Betsy starred as Prudie Cupp in "Pump Boys and Dinettes." She sang backing vocals on Neil Young's "Old Ways" and "Lucky Thirteen" albums. "Little by Little" is the title track for The Stevens Sisters album on Rounder Records, and it's been a single for Karla Taylor (Curb Records), for Randy Kohrs (Junction Records), and Sarah Sigman. Two of the album's 13 original tracks are produced by Brooks Arthur (Janis Ian, Adam Sandler, Liza Minnelli, among others). Her haunting melody "What Would You Write If You Wrote About Me?" (track 3 on "Caressed") also appears on Kenny Marks' "World Gone Mad" CD (Word Records).
