Ann's third release, Bone Dry, is by far her best work and has taken her to another level as a performing artist. On this CD , Ann collaborated with the same players that work with Alan Jackson, Jessica Andrews, Tammy Wynette and LeeAnn Rhimes. Her main engineer on this project was Mike Hopkins, who won a grammy for his work with Sheryl Crow.
Where as her first two CD's were more traditional country, this CD has alot of different flavors with interesting blues tunes such as the title cut Bone Dry, written by Ann and co-writer Chris Cook. Love Train brings in some bluegrass, and Puppy's Still a Dog is Rockin'.
Just a great CD all-around. Well worth a listen.
