Music has played a profound part in Amy's life for as long as she can remember. Without music and the immensely talented artists of past and present, she never would have made it this far in life. "Country music speaks to your soul, directly from the hearts of others. It has remained steadfast in my life, through highs and lows. It has helped me escape from the tribulations and sadness of the modern world, and rejoice in the beauty of life. I hope, with the music I have created, to reach others in the same manner that I have been reached," says Amy.

At age five, Amy attended her first concert to see Kenny Rogers perform, and has been singing ever since. In the house, the car, and shower to start, hearing the music in her head as she drifted to sleep, humming along, as a child and teenager. She has thwarted all attempts to discourage her. "My sisters used to try and sufficate me with a pillow to get me to stop!"

In the past twenty some years Amy has been involved in the following activities: church youth and adult choir, musical and theatrical productions, open-mic performances, songwriting, singing, marching band, & musician woodwind competitions. Amy learned as a child to play the flute and piano, and she continues to play the acoustic guitar, as well as piano. Amy also learned to dance country western at a young age and continues to do so, fueling her creative songwriting mind. Amy was a member of the Stone Groove Band in the late 90's as a vocalist and contributed to composing original songs. In 2004, Amy started the "Amy Lynn" country western band and cannot wait to see where the horizon will take her. Amy says, " With this first album, my dreams have begun to come true."
