Dann Was born in the small town of Mansfield, Conn. one of eight children who all loved music and sang with their father and uncle with their guitars. Dann began his radio career at age 17 singing and playing with a small country band. After serving his country in the US Air Force he joined a large country band at Lake Compounce, Bristol, Conn. where he continued to play for 6 years. After completing college Dann relocated to Nashville, Tenn. where he performed with road bands traveling with Claude Gray and The Graymen over much of the United States. This opened the door for Dann to continue composing original songs and to perform in Europe, Las Vegas and venues in the United States. While in Europe, Dann performed his "Tribute To Roy Orbison" in clubs and was well received by many. Dann continues to perform at venues and to record his original songs. He and his family now live in Florida.
