Shapeshifter explores different sub-genres of electronica by going from one style to the next, hence the name. The human element of the music remains in many tracks where there are improvised piano solos as well as live bass lines. This album contains many influences from jazz pianists such as Thelonious Monk, to classical composers with the likes of Frederic Chopin with a modern day touch of IDM & breakbeat.
