Ex Thomas Dolby keyboardist/synthesist Mike Kapitan's first electronica project.

Review comments: "It's sweet !! And sexy !! Sounds great (production wise)"
- Logan Susnick.

"I really enjoyed it. I've always really been a fan of exotic ethnic music fused with other styles."
- Mark Isham.

"I received your CD several weeks ago, and absolutely LOVE it! ;-) I think my favorite has to be the title track, though, "Colorful". The phase-vocoded (?) "colorful" vocal is SOOO cool. I also like the first track a lot, "Based on a true story".... what is the language used in that and the other tracks? Arabic? In any case, the "from my minaret" singing style really works well with the drum-n-bass background. It sounds like a different language in "Colorful". Some kind of African language? Wow. It's just an ear-feast! This is great stuff! (Listening to it right now....). Kind of like Deep Forest, but with the musicianship of someone like Joe Zawinul" I also really liked the ambient section of the album. It's a nice way to format an album, since once the listener has had his/her fill of music that "grabs your attention", they are let down gently as a feather.... Nice."
- Daniel Kopyc

"Hey hey--the record's slammin!!!! I've listened to it a bunch of times and really dig the creativity and world influence."
- Jennifer Batten (Jeff Beck, Michael Jackson)
