The INSOMNIACZ consist of a 3 member group,
Odias, Pla'Boy-Chi, B-ROC
The group started their career in 1995. They call themselves the INSOMNIACZ, because it best describes them, people who can't and won't sleep in the music industry! All 3 members grew up in the same neighborhood, which makes their chemistry as friends come out in the music they do. It was only natural for these 3 emcees to form one ambitious team.
The INSOMNIACZ's describe their style as "Trip-Hip-Hop" (Hip-hop/Pop/R & B). They picked this description because their music can be lively, wild, calm and comprehendible.
They're unique styles come together into a commercially enticing sound, but still able to cater to the underground audience. "Odias" brings lyrically clever metaphoric rhymes, while "Pla'Boy-Chi" brings the rough and raspy Hip-Hop sound, all blending perfectly with "B-ROC" brings ear catching flow.
One of the most positive aspects of the INSOMNIACZ is that they produce their own music. This makes their style and sound come out better than most, because it is defined clearer. The INSOMNIACZ believe in keeping there music meaningful and most of all entertaining. By doing this they have the unique ability of bridging the sometimes-segregated audiences of "rap music" and "Hip-Hop music". This then allows them to reach the masses.
In the time that they've been together, they have shared the stage with of some of the industry finest, such as Eve, Twista, Yukmouth, Do or Die and successful local acts. Just about anywhere they can display their talent they will. The response of the people has been of complements, enthusiasm, energy, and uniqueness. The "INSOMNIACZ's" have something for everybody and are ready to share it with the rest of the world.
