Argelis was born and raised in Panama City, Panama where the rich sounds of Latin music influenced her musical career. Argelis has performed as a solo singer and classical guitarist as well as with chamber groups in the United States and Central America.
Her passion for jazz and Brazilian music inspired Argelis to compose Latin jazz songs culminating in the recording of her first CD, Nostalgia.
Besides her musical career, Argelis is developing her own consulting business specializing in training and intercultural communication. She currently lives in Portland, Oregon.
