Belford Hernandez brings innovation and creativity to latin and Jazz music. His vibrant and energetic sounds are a true interpretation of his personality and love for the piano. As a young child in Venezuela, Belford's dream was to become an accomplished pianist and musician.

Belford has a BA in Music Education from the Adventist University of Colombia and a MM Music Education from VanderCook School of music in Chicago. Among his accomplishments, he has been an Associate Piano Professor and the High School Choral Director at the Adventist University of Colombia. He was a Professor of piano and trombone at the Amadeus Conservatory and Virgilio Fryling Music Academy in Medellin, Colombia. He has also accompanied the world renowned Glen Ellyn Children's Treble Choir of Illinois. He has performed in many piano recitals as a featured artist and chamber music player in Venezuela, Colombia, and United States. He has traveled to many South American countries and Jamaica as the piano accompanist for professional choirs and vocal ensembles.

Belford is an accomplished music arranger and composer. He has arranged and composed music for vocalists, choral groups, and instrumentalists. His goal is to begin publishing his musical arrangements as well as producing his own music and producing other artists.
