In her debut album in the U.S., Eugenia Zolotariova brings her unique and heartfelt interpretation of her Romani classics to American music aficionados. Eugenia heralds from a family that has
spawned a new dynasty of performing artists: singers, dancers and musicians. Her first exposure to music was at home in the midst of all her relatives who all played at least one instrument. Her natural talent was observed at an early age and she had the benefit of receiving a classical musical education at the Conservatory of Music
from Chishinau her home town from which she also holds a degree in dramatic arts. Among her many accomplishments she is a Laureate of the Stefan Neaga Competition, held annually in Chishinau. In addition she has frequently appeared on television specials in her native Moldova. Eugenia’s multi-lingual repertoire reflects her many travels throughout Russia, Romania, Greece, Cyprus and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
She dedicates this album to the memory of her late parents.
